Are you looking for a scarlet lady? 'Cos we're nearly immortal All caught up in this heartbeat way We're nearly immortal All caught up in a love-rock shape Waiting for the shade to come -LAYLA Josephine Vanders Guht sing her heart out on one of her female empowerment songs. Another dose of female empowerment, Shani Silver wrote, moving is the hardest thing she's done as single woman - you're not the only one! I moved to 3 different countries so far - me, myself and I, alone. And I'm not sure if I still have plans of moving or staying. What cause me the bold move?? At first it was an excused to escape, to run away with the things that I don't want to confront. Then I found my way back home -- to myself. Now moving to another place to another country is intentional to me. I made the decision with a purpose in mind. I know that I will find peace and growth. That's why I said yes to another move. If Shani is ranting about pulling and pushing her air conditioning on 3 flights up on stairs, have you tried carrying total 80 pounds of two dogs plus their pet carrier? Not just once but twice of a lifetime. And the stressful long queue to the airport praying you can make it since you have pets who successfully board in while you as a human have not yet check in? Hahaha. - I can now laugh reminiscing those experiences but it was hell! Or how about painting the entire walls of your apartment by yourself? Oh Shani, we can rant all day about there's so much we can do as single women with no help from men.
Why we choose to live this way? "I’ve often heard that my attitude is the reason why I’m single. That idea is communicated to me as a negative. It’s not, “Congratulations, your attitude is why you’re single — what an accomplishment.” It’s: “This is all your fault, you’re doing something bad — to yourself.” While I don’t believe that being single is inherently something bad or wrong, and therefore can’t have a reason, fault, or cause, I’d like to get into this. Because I’m tired of being told that my life is wrong, and a symptom of my own feelings. I think my life is right, and a symptom of work and building a world around me that I’m proud of. I think the idea of a single woman enjoying her life is one that takes getting used to. Not for me though I’m super into this already. " https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/single-women-attitude
